Writing Journal 2/18/2025

Journal Entry

I didn’t update my journal yesterday. I’m really worn out from work. I’ve been trying to figure out a way of getting organized. Started doing a bullet journal. It is frustrating when I don’t have regular schedules that I can really plan my writing and publishing work.

Anyways. I wrote, A Second Shattered. It’s a new writing exercise. You can check it out in my writing exercises or my Patreon page. Please support me.

I tried working on a chapter of Puddle Mucker. It’s frustratingly slow to get back into it. I don’t know why I’ve been struggling so much. I look forward to the future when I can look back and be like, "Wow, look how far I’ve come."

I’ll get an update of my second chapter on Patreon sometime this week. I think I am going to go old school and do a rough outline of what should happen in this chapter. I’m back to trying to be perfect again, even in my first draft.

Justin Adelmann: A cozy writer's workspace featuring a bullet journal open on a wooden desk, a cup of coffee nearby, and a laptop with a blank document. Soft lighting from a desk lamp creates a warm, contemplative atmosphere. A pen rests on the journal, with scattered notes adding to the creative struggle.
Late nights, scattered notes, and a cup of coffee—trying to find the balance between creativity and organization.
